Do you know what is DLNA? Yes. Some said DLNA or DNA?… I mean here is DLNA…. For sure DLNA stands for Digital Living Network Alliance. So many devices out there with DLNA certified.
How many smartphone users out there really use this function? If you involve in any product development as well software development the first thing you should know what the customer really want inside your product or software. For example, in Microsoft Words, how many functions you really touch and feel? Some said, I use font function or roughly it’s just around 5% – 10% for normal users.
Same with the smartphone. Do you really utilize the smartphone DLNA function as well…. Might be some people not really know the DLNA functions is existed in their device! That the worst case. They just bought smartphone because it’s cool man… and more trendy…. They bought the smartphone because bigger screen, can whatsapp, do facebook, instagram and etc…. No matter what… It’s your device and it’s your money… Just enjoy it… Hahaha
So let back to the topic. Basically, I owned two (2) smartphones 1: HTC Sensation , 2: Nokia Lumia 800 (I never asked you… Why you tell me… It’s my blog so it all my word… You read it just keep quite okay… Haha.. Just kidding… “Kita kena berhati2 dengan orang yang bercakap didalam hati… Nanti makan hati, hahaha”. So, both devices with Android and Windows Mobile Phone. Yes, both devices have DLNA function as well. For this just a quick tutorial or maybe exposure for those don’t really know what is DLNA. Let take a quick view…
Before that, you need a media player with DLNA certified . Just take a look at this logo…
So, I’ve Western Digital TV Live (WD TV Live) as below;
Let get started;
1 ) From your Gallery, go to Photos / Videos you like to stream from your device. From the “Output” tab WDTVLive or your media player name.
2 ) Press “Done” or should I say touch “Done” … Lol…
3) Done.

Yes. Then, you open Youtube from your smartphone but the screen is so small… So, you able to stream back the content to your screen with Youtube TV function.
1) Pair your device from My Tube icon on your media player. Then start pairing.
You’ll see My Youtube TV after you’re successfully paired your device. Just press “Play” and it’ll stream to your screen.
Now Najwa Latif on my screen… Lol… I’m totally not Najwa Latiff fan… Hahah…
